Representatives from the World Golf Hall of Fame will spend Thursday in Fort Worth collecting memorabilia from award-winning journalist and author Dan Jenkins. Jenkins, 82, will be enshrined May 7 in St. Augustine, Fla. as part of the 2012 Hall of Fame class. Jenkins, who has covered golf for more than 50 years for various publications, is being added in the Lifetime Achievement category. A graduate of TCU and Paschal High School, Jenkins will be donating a vintage typewriter used to write his columns, as well as several awards, photos and original copies of some of his best-selling novels, to the display.
