Golfers will compete Friday, May 11 in a 12-hour golf marathon to raise funds for The First Tee of Fort Worth. Competitors in the event, sponsored by The Angela Stanford Foundation, had solicited more than $85,000 in pledges before they were scheduled to tee off at Rockwood Golf Course in Fort Worth.
Members of the Texas Wesleyan golf team will take part in a relay in attempt to break the existing marathon record of 190 holes play in a 12-hour period. This is the organization’s third annual golf marathon as a fund raiser for The First Tee of Fort Worth.
