The First Tee of Fort Worth will host disabled golfer Dennis Walters, a noted trick-shot artist who teaches life skills as part of his show, during a June 20 exhibition at Rockwood Golf Course in Fort Worth. The show will run from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. There is no cost to attend.
Walters, an honorary member of the PGA, travels the country in conjunction with his rescue dog, Buckey, performing 90 to 100 shows per year to stress perseverance and life skills to young golfers. Walters has been paralyzed from the waist down since a golf cart accident in 1974.
