Thursday Must C TV: Mavs Game Should End No Later Than 1 a.m.; Steve Carrell Is Out of The Office

The Rangers finish their marathon homestand with a 1 today against the Blue Jays. Alexi Ogando against some dude named Brandon Morrow on Fox Sports Southwest.
Rangers need to win this game; they should have won this series but the best they can do is a 2-2 split.

Mavs at Portland 9:30 p.m. TNT
I already fear how late this game will actually end. I have a 2-year-old people. Why can't they start this earlier? And given the Mavs well documented proclivity to gag late, you can't turn it off no matter how big the lead is.

Magic at Hawks 6:30 p.m. NBA TV
Why won't this series end? I haven't watched a minute and don't intend to unless it goes to a Game 9.

Lakers at Hornets 7 p.m. TNT
Chris Paul is going to have to do everything himself again to push this to 7. He can. He just won't tonight at Kobe closes it out.

Nashville at Vancouver 8 p.m. Versus
God bless the little NHL. This is how you know a league isn't massively big time. The Canucks finished their first round series two nights ago and now they have rolled into the second round beginning tonight. Canucks should roll in this series. Should.

NFL Draft 7 p.m. on ESPN and NFL Network
Lots 'o talking and lots of hope. The day where we're all winners. The day where every team couldn't believe their guy was still available.

Michael-scott-badass-440x250 The Office 8 p.m. on NBC
After a brilliant run as Michael Scott, Steve Carrell is leaving The Office. Not sure how this show holds up without him. Cheers did it without Shelly Long, so who knows?

30 Rock 9:30 p.m. on NBC
Pretty sure it's a repeat but who cares? Still worth watching.

Premios Billboard de la musica latina 7 p.m. on Tele
Have no idea what this is because it's in Spanish, but this show runs 'til 10 p.m. so that means it's probably really good, and has ample amount of the pretty people running around.

Death Wish 4: The Crackdown 7 p.m. on AMC
Never saw it, but I'm pretty sure this is the one where some dude killed Charles Bronson's dog or something.

Late Show With David Letterman 10:35 p.m. on CBS
Dave has Dr. Phil McGraw on, which is usually funny because Dr. Phil relentlessly gives Dave a hard time.
