Dan Bailey is your Dallas Cowboys MVP*

5763711.bin1. Still five games remaining but right now the Cowboys are the four seed in the NFC playoff picture. Beat the Cardinals in Arizona next Sunday and the Cowboys will be 8-4 and will need to just hang on to finish 10-6.

2. And the Cowboys MVP this season is Dan Bailey. The way this NFL is with so many close games, a reliable kicker is just about the most valuable commodity you can find ... next to the quarterback. But he's still just a kicker.

3. Still can't believe this stat - Laurent Robinson led the team with seven catches for 79 yards. Tony Romo threw the ball towards Robinson 12 times. The next highest figure was Jason Witten's five.

4. DeMarcus Ware wasn't credited with any of the Cowboys' four sacks, but he had one taken away on a stupid penalty and Ware's pressure on Matt Moore was pretty good all game.

Rofl4.5 Jason Witten's take down of the Cowboys cheerleader on the sidelines was pretty solid. She popped up and appeared to take it well.

5. What has happened to Felix Jones? I know he's coming off an injury but this is the guy that started the season as the No. 1 back and now isn't being counted on to do anything.
Felix had no carries against the Fish, and one catch for four yards.

6. Brandon Marshall may be a complete loon, but the guy can catch. His TD catch over Terence Newman was simply outstanding. Marshall finished with 5 receptions for 103 yards.

7. Tony Romo survived. He finished 22 of 34 for 226 yards with 2 TDs and 2 ints.; he was under pressure all day and he got bailed out by dumb luck at least three times with passes that he were coming out of hands just as he was hit, or as he was going down, that could have been disaster picks.

8. Miami is going to fire Tony Sparano as soon as this season is over, but the fact that this team hasn't quit on him and he has figured out a way for the Fish to remain competitive despite a thin roster says something about his ability to coach.

9. DeMarco Murray's ability to make people miss and Tony Romo's ability to get the ball out of his hands and buy time with his feet are disguising the fact that their offensive line is OK at best.

10. The Cowboys are 4-1 in games decided by 3 points or less.

I loved the video of Jason Witten (my favorite Cowboy) running into that Dallas Cowboy cheer leader!

She totally deserved it!

(she is not very sweet or pretty)
