DALLAS - By now most people are familiar with some stories surrounding the Penn State scandal. Arguably the highest profile story is that of the testimony delivered by Penn State assistant coach Mike McQueary when he said he witnessed former PSU defensive coordinator Jerry Sandusky molesting a young boy in a locker room shower.
According to reports, the shower was located in the Louis and Mildred Lasch Football Building on the Penn State campus. If I'm a Penn State football player, this would be ... weird. Is it?
"I didn't pay attention to it. I didn't read about it so I don't know," Penn State defensive end Eric Latimore said. "And I don't think it happened in our locker room. It happened prior, in one of the other locker rooms."
This is a 13,000 square foot building. It's massive.
Penn State is in town to play Houston in the Ticket City Bowl, and everyone with the team has been fantastic in dealing with the media, or anybody else.
"The whole thing is just eye opening. That's about it," Latimore said. "The only thing that was a distraction about that was the press. We have no answers for this situation. Penn State is Penn State. All of that stuff that happened, that's not Penn State."
