If my math is right, this is lawsuit No. 3 for Mr. Bryant. Gotta figure he's getting pretty good at this stuff.
According to this report, Endurance Capital Fund out of New York says that Dez borrowed 100 large and hasn't repayed the full amount. People are so touchy.
This reminds me of this quote from comedian Chris Tucker: "You loan your friend money. You see them again, they don't say nothin' 'bout the money. 'Hi, how ya doin'? How's ya mama doing?' Man, how's my money doin'?"
This report says the debt is more than a year old, and that Dez owes about half of the 100K.
Endurance issued this release to the Herald: "We have reached out to everybody from Mr. Bryant's agent to his mortgage broker to try to get this debt repaid. Everyone acknowledges the debt, but nobody will come forward to repay it. This is a unique and disappointing experience. We have never had a client refuse to repay their debt before."
At least Dez is not dealing with a loan shark or something. Historically, loan sharks offer really bad interest rates.
