It was Ellen DeGeneres who once said, "Procrastination isn't the problem, it's the solution. So procastinate now, don't put it off."
Following this logic, the Rangers did exactly that until it came time to get it done. Sounds as if Yu Darvish is going to ink a six-year deal before the 4 p.m. deadline. I really respect anyone that had a month to complete a contract but waited until the last possible minute to get it done.
The signing of Darvish should let C.J. Wilson know what the club thought of him. With Darvish on the roster, this is what the rotation could look like on Opening Day:
Yu Darvish (RHP)
Matt Harrison (LHP)
Derek Holland (LHP)
Colby Lewis (RHP)
Alexi Ogando (RHP)
Neftali Feliz (RHP)
Rangers pitching coach Mike Maddux was asked on Tuesday if the team could go to a six-man rotation, but he immediately quashed that concept because it leaves the bullpen thinner. In this era of baseball, Maddux said, it's all about the 'pen.
My money says by season's end Derek Holland will be the best of the bunch, including Yu.

Neftali Feliz (RHP)
*Alexi Ogando moves to the bullpen, although I think he would be a great starter and one for most teams.

This is a top-flight rotation in anybody's book. Holland and Harrison are still improving, and Darvish will fit right in. I suspect Feliz might be the ace if Pedro can teach him the circle change. His fastball and slider are awesome

Decent Rotation. Too many Ifs there and no proven #1. I don't trust Harrison.
