A chance to party with Craig James? Uhhhh ... yeeeeeah!

Big thanks to my friend and colleague, Bud Kennedy of the Star-Telegram, for posting this on his Facebook page:

If you want to party with a future President of the United States, Tuesday is the day. I'm looking right at you, Red Raider nation.

According to the website www.meetup.com, Craig James is going to kickin' it with Rick Santorum fans to watch Super Tuesday results.

(If you have a free moment, read this column from Bud Kennedy about Rick Perry's fall and Santorum's rise. Super Tuesday was supposed to be Perry's big day.)

Back to the party ... James is currently running for an open U.S. Senate seat in the great state 'a' Texas. On Tuesday he is scheduled to appear at the Movie Tavern in Bedford, Texas with a flock of Rick Santorum supporters to watch the Super Tuesday election results on the big screen. Wonder if the channel will be tuned in to CNN or Fox News?

One suggestion: Wolf Blitzer on a movie-theater sized screen = massive audience.

The event is scheduled to begin at 7 p.m., and also scheduled to appear next to James are GOP candidates or representives Ted Cruz, Grant Stinchfield and Kenny Marchant. No word if the candidates will be doing keg stands, but rest assured with this crew this thing is going to be off the chain. That's the way they roll on Real Street.
