The ever expanding beer market continues its rapid growth as it tries to lure every beverage drinker on the planet who is over 18 or 21, depending on where you live. While they're at it, they are all really trying to eliminate every single calorie that comes with beer consumption.
Michelob Ultra is now releasing, just in time for summer, the new Michelob Ultra 19th Hole Light Tea & Lemonade. Click here for the website.
It tastes nothing like beer. It tastes like tea with a hint of lemon and some carmel. The 16 ounce can contains 140 calories, and 4 percent alcohol. It's very light, and crisp. Not watery, but certainly not beer.
I can't see this being a big hit with the fellas. I have never developed a taste for tea, so this is not apt to find a regular place in my 'fridge.
Sweet flavored beer, such as Bud Lite Lime, usually target the female audience who want a beer, but a beer that doesn't taste like a beer. The Ultra Light 19th Hole Light Tea & Lemonade certainly does not taste like beer, but tea with alcohol.

What the hell were you expecting. It tells you it is tea and lemonade.

Im drinking a 4 pack now and really like it- it's like a summer shandy that refreshes but has a kick.

I love it actually. I bought out the rest at my liquor store and now I have to convince them to buy more because it was barely selling. I say give it a shot, way better than what you would expect.

I love beer. Hell, I drink heavy Ale's but the 19th hole is a great product. Very refreshing just a bit expensive.
