Felt the need to share this because for those of you familiar with the children's book, "Go the (Bleep) To Sleep" will appreciate it.
The Audio Publisher's Association announced its finalists for the Audiobook of the Year today. I never knew such a beast existed, either. Among the nominees is this new classic, written by Adam Mansbach and narrated by Samuel L. Jackson.
The award will be announced July 5 in NYC.
The other finalists include:
"American Gods: The 10th Anniversary Edition" (didn't read/hear it)
"Bossypants" (By Tina Fey; very funny)
"Steve Jobs" (Own it, have yet to read it)
If you have not read Go the Bleep to Sleep, do. The writing alone is solid, and coupled with Jackson's unmistakable cadence it's one of the funniest reads to be released in a long time.
For obvious reasons I could not include very much about this book, but here is a clip of Jackson with David Letterman.
