Video footage of big building implosions are all the same, yet they never get old.
Earlier this morning in College Station, the 17-story Plaza Building was imploded. Anyone who has ever driven on University in College Station likely used this building as a point of reference for directions and such. While useful, it was also a pain on the eyes. Just a massive pile of concrete that looked more befetting of 1970s East Berlin and Communist style apartment buildings than a college town.
Next up on the College Station implosion agenda: Kyle Field. It's either coming down, or getting a massive facelift. I vote implosion, simply for the video footage.
