Can't decide what is more exciting - the fact that a movie that is 45 days away from opening has tickets going on sale, or that the last installment of The Dark Knight Rises is nearly 3 hours in length.
Go with the latter.
Batman Begins is 140 minutes.
The Dark Knight was 152 minutes.
The Dark Knight rises is apparently 165 minutes.
And it's still not long enough.
This may be a case where the studio, or anybody up to and perhaps including God, is not big enough to edit director Christopher Nolan. It happens in a very few cases when the creator is so big, powerful and popular and that no one dare even attempt an edit.
Tickets for opening night, and beyond, are set to go on sale on June 11.
