DALLAS - Once again the Big 12 conference rolled out its welcome mat for the mostly white male members of the media who cover this event not with food and drink but with cheerleaders.
For the second year in a row the conference invited a handful of cheerleaders from its member schools to cheer the players and coaches as they take questions.
Well played, gentlemen. Well played.
This confirms what researchers have said for years: Girls plus sports = internet hits.
