TCU QB Casey Pachall updates where Tanner Brock may be headed

Tanner-brockDALLAS - Former TCU linebacker Tanner Brock's hope/plan to transfer to UTEP have fallen through.

Brock is the former TCU football player who was arrested for selling marijuana earlier this year and was kicked off the team. He still has some eligibility remaining, and given his ability is an attractive get for another program.

In late April, his former teammate, Tank Carder told a local radio station he thought Brock was headed to UTEP. Brock wanted to, but for various reasons it didn't work out. Brock really didn't want to sit out a full year, but that is a certainty now.

According to his former rommate, TCU QB Casey Pachall, it looks as if Brock will still try to go to another Division I school.

"He was going to go to Sam Houston State. (His brother Logan Brock) is with the Texans now, and Sam Houston was the only team that would let him play this year," Pachall told me. "But he just found out this past week wherever he goes he has to sit out a year. He told me he was going to think about going to another Division I school. He said if I am going to have to wait a year I may as well go D-I."

Good luck to Tanner Brock. Wish TCU could take you back. Oh and good job FWPD and TCU on portraying jr high amounts of pot as a major drug bust.

I'm gonna go burn one down now.
