With TCU moving into the Big 12 the home crowds at Amon G. Carter Stadium figure to swell by the thousands, making driving and life generally Saturday's a bit harder in and around the TCU neighborhood.
(Not complaining)
One of the improvements the city of Fort Worth and TCU have made that should help make the game-day experience a little easier is re-modeling the intersection at Berry Street and University.
This thing has been torn up the previous few weeks. It's scheduled to open three weeks ahead of schedule (Note to all contractors - always set the bar low).
As you can see from the photo, it's certainly more aesthetically pleasing than previously. A little less visible is that for the first time this very busy intersection will be easier for pedestrians who want to walk between a Kroger grocery store, the TCU book store and 7-11.
Walking this intersection will no longer feel like Frogger.
