Question: Does Kevin Ogletree deserve an apology for all the doubt thrown his way?
Nothing Ogletree had done in his career leading up to Wednesday night's win suggested he would/could perform that way. He had chances before, many, and never once did he do something like that. There was a reason why the Cowboys pulled Laurent Robinson off the street and he cashed in last year.
Ogletree's eight catches for 114 yards and two TDs against the Giants nearly eclipse his previous career numbers.
2009: 11 games, 7 rec., 96 yds.
2010: 6 games, 3 rec., 34 yds.
2011: 14 games, 15 rec., 164 yds.
2012: 1 game, 8 rec., 114 yds., 2 TD
Is Ogletree another example of a slow developing receiver who, provided the opportunity, has matured into a legit threat of a receiver and can win the third WR matchup?
Or is this a case of a team not respecting and game planning for a guy and Ogletree will return to being the player who was good enough to be on a roster but not make a difference?
