6a00e54f7fc4c58833017c3514d0ec970b-300wiUPDATE: 11:08 a.m. CT - Texas Longhorns football coach Mack Brown announced that the team has suspended the two players who have been accused of sexual assault in San Antonio. Brown told the media both players have been sent home.

A "down" season for the Texas Longhorn football team has taken a dramatic, and scary, turn in San Antonio, one day before they are to play Oregon State in the Alamo Bowl.

According to this report by KENS in San Antonio, 2 UT players are accused of sexual assault against a 21-year-old student from Texas Tech.

UT is scheduled to practice this morning at 11. Head coach Mack Brown should be addressing the media then.

Shocking!! Hardly.

More to this story than the early reports. Young girls with stars in their eyes and college athelets are a toxic mix. Those that would critize should reflect on their own early youth.
