You won't believe which players Forbes says the Mavericks are over paying

Nowktzki_kaman-1337676987Dirk Nowtizki and Chris Kaman are good buddies since they played on the German national team together, and not only do they share that bond but they are also teammates on the Dallas Mavericks.

Also, they're really overpaid.

Or at least according to Forbes.

Forbes has released it's most Overpaid Paid Players of the NBA, and both Dirk and Kaman made the Forbes' cut. The Mavs and Orlando Magic are two teams with two guys to make this list.

Now, this is not just some anecdotal and arbitrary criteria - this takes into account a variety of factors from personal production to team wins to annual salary.

Leading the way is ...
1. Carmelo Anthony, New York Knicks
2. Ben Gordon, Charlotte Bobcats
3. Joe Johnson, Brooklyn Nets
4. Hedo Turkoglu, Orlando Magic
5. Dirk Nowitzki, Dallas Mavericks
6. Corey Magette, Detroit Pistons
7. Rudy Gay, Toronto Raptors
8. Stephen Jackson, San Antonio Spurs
9. Chris Kaman, Dallas Mavericks
10. Arron Afflalo, Orlando Magic

Anyone who says Dirk is overpaid is clueless.

Dirk is over paid, over hyped, and over. Trade him.

The reason Dirk is on this list is because the things he has done for the Mavs (this season) have not shown up on stat sheets. They are far more valuable than that, and you can't put a price tag on it. We should pay him until he wants to quit

I love our Mavs. I hope we get things straightend out. Dirk is still great. I like Cuban and his wallet and we have great fans in Dallas. The ingridients are there for another run at a title but we have to fix things soon.

I would gladly over pay Carmello to play for us. The idiots at Forbes need to stick to finance and stay out of basketball.

outrageous fortunes

If the Mavericks are over paying for talent think of the fans! How much have they been over paying to see our Mavs play????
