Planning your sports week ...

OriginalIt's June 10, and the sports calendar is not what we would call "packed", "or full of thrills".

Alas, time to start planning your days:

Texas Rangers
The club returns home after going on the road at Boston and Toronto for an 11-game homestand.
There are three against the Indians beginning tonight that is Yu Darvish K Counter Bobblehead night; followed by three against the Blue Jays and then starting on June 17 a four-game set against the A's.

The starting pitching is beginning to look thin after Yu and Holland, people are figuring out Jurickson Profar, and this is the time of year when it gets real in Major League Baseball.

Dallas Cowboys
The Cowboys have their three-day minicamp at Valley Ranch beginning Tuesday and ending Thursday.
Will be interesting to see how Jerry Jones leaves his head coach out to dry and how Jason Garrett will try to stonewall.

Don't expect Tony Romo to do anything, and there is a lot of hope that Sean Lee won't get hurt.

World_War_Z_Poster_3_24_13Dallas Stars
They have a new GM, new uniforms but they still need a head coach.

Dallas Mavericks
Owner Mark Cuban will issue a $500,000 grant to TCU to research why NBA owners blow up NBA championship teams.

The Big Screen
June 14 - Man of Steel. No way this reboot can be as good as the Batman triology, but the trailers look cool.

June 21 - World War Z. Brad Pitt's jump into the Max Brooks' novel was reportedly a total budget fiasco, and it looks nothing like the book, but it's chaos and it's zombies. How could it be that bad?
