UFC coming to Cowboys Stadium*

Qo26mI have made it a mission to get UFC president Dana White to put on a super fight at Cowboys Stadium, and then Anderson Silva had to screw it all up by getting his arrogant butt knocked out by Chris Weidman recently.

Until Dana can find a fight big enough to justify opening the doors to Cowboys Stadium for a super fight, we will take this: On Friday, Aug. 2 the UFC will bring Georges St. Pierre and local guy Johny "Bigg Rigg" Hendricks to Cowboys Stadium for an open workout.

The two are fighting in UFC 167 at the MGM Grand in November in Las Vegas for the middleweight title. (BTW - Have to go with the hometown guy and say Bigg Rigg is going to upset GSP).

The event at Cowboys Stadium, which is free and open to the public, is part of a massive international press tour that will begin July 27 to highlight UFC's four Pay Per View fights in 2013.

No, it's not a superfight but it's free and it should be fun.
