Holland's photo over the summer with teammate Justin Grimm taken in NYC created quite the buzz and it helped him land a cameo in the new movie made by the Farrelly brothers.
Holland told The Ben & Skin Show on 105.3 The Fan that he made it out to L.A. and shot a small scene that he thinks will be at the start of the movie.
This is wonderful news that Jim Carrey, in an effort to cash a monster check and finally have another big opening weekend, is returning to a role that helped make him filthy rich. His costar, Jeff Daniels, seems like he is above such wants but the allure of that many zeroes is obviously too tempting. Good for them.
The tag on Imdb.com states: "20 years after the dimwits set out on their first adventure, they head out in search of one of their long lost children in the hope of gaining a new kidney."
Holland's role in the movie will certainly help re-secure his status as a screwoff, but he is not the ideal Ranger for a spot in a giant Hollywood production.
Go with Jurickson Profar. The Rangers have over-promoted this kid so may as well go all in and put him in a movie, too.
