For centuries man has tried to package the Godly goodness of the fast food french fry in a bag that you do not have to eat immediately to fully enjoy. We can put a man on the moon, but no one has been able to successfully execute the basic necessity of prolonging the taste of a french fry.
French fries that one can buy at the grocery store, take home, and then open and re-open to space out your enjoyment, and work off the calories in between snacks.
Whataburger, the grocery giant HEB, and very likely a team of scientists, have teamed up to conquer this with the new product, "Whataburger Whatafries", which should arrive on shelves soon.
It is crucial to commend not only the vision but the courage and heroism of HEB, Whataburger and their flavorologists in their quest to bring home the french fry taste to your cupboard.
Does it work?
Not really. This is subjective, but if you are in the mood for a handful of fries this new product is just a bit wide of the mark. They taste more like chips ... which is what they are.
It should be noted, however, that the contents of this particular bag no longer exist.
