Adam Scott, No. 1 Golfer and No. 1 Good Guy

IMG_0341FORT WORTH, Texas - Much respect to Adam Scott for an autograph that is not only legible, but easily read on a golf ball. You try signing your name on a golf ball and see how dumb you look. This takes tremendous practice.

Courtney Ray, 23, of Frisco, Texas knows this after she caught the ball Scott threw into the crowd after he the three-hole playoff to win the 2014 Crowne Plaza Inviational at Colonial Country Club in Fort Worth on Sunday afternoon.

No. 1 - Nice hands to Ray, who is a self-described golf freak.
No. 2 - Nice thinking by Rick Press of the Star-Telegram by escorting her to the interview area where Ray could meet Scott, and have the golf ball signed.
No. 3 - Nicer move by Scott for allowing Ray to keep the ball, posing for pictures, and being a good sport.

IMG_0337Ray said she has no intention of auctioning the keepsake on EBay, and that she intends to add this to her golf shrine in her room.
