I am on record with the Dallas Cowboys finishing 10-6. Yes, it is a schtick pick. I have been picking 10-6 for the previous three seasons, and I will stick with 10-6 until it happens.
Here is an informal poll ranging from local media, national media and anybody else I could find to give me a Dallas Cowboys prediction:
Albert Breer, NFL Network: 6-10
Deborah Ferguson, KDFW NBC 5 morning host: 6-10
Steve Lamb, WBAP sports director: 5-11
Howard Bryant, ESPN.com senior writer: 7-9
Cedric Golden, Austin-American Statesman columnist: 6-10
Eddie Gossage, Texas Motor Speedway president: 5-11 (only home win)
Mark Davis, DFW conservative radio host: 7-9 (and that's optimistic. Tell me why it should be better. Huge questions at QB, defense and head coach. Other than that, everything is awesome)
Brian Estridge, WBAP morning radio host and voice of TCU Horned Frogs: 5-11
Gina Miller, former CBS 11 & ThatSportsGirl star: An incredibly optimistic 8-8
Calvin Watkins, ESPNDallas.com writer: 6-10
Jane Slater, DFW CBS Channel 11: 7-9
Patrick Crayton, former Dallas Cowboys wide receiver: 8-8. But only if offense averages 37.3 points per game.
Daryl "Razor" Reaugh, color analyst of Dallas Stars: 5-9-2
Steve Dennis, Dallas Cowboys TV: 6-10
Bob Sturm, 1310 The Ticket: 6-10
Gregg Doyel, CBS Sports columnist: 5-11
Michael Young, retired Texas Rangers infielder: 8-8. Brutal schedule. Seattle, Arizona and New Orleans are beating them. I have them splitting with Indy and Chicago.
Ralph Strangis, Dallas Stars play by play man: 8-8. Playing the percentages in a .500 league.
Jason LaConfora, CBS NFL Insider: 6-10, third in the NFC East
Tim Love, Fort Worth celebrity chef: 9-7
Suzy Solis, former CBS 11 news reporter: It pains me to predict but I predict 5-11
Mike Modano, retired Dallas Stars center and Hockey Hall of Fame inductee: 4-12
Brad Sham, Dallas Cowboys radio voice: I respectfully decline
Gil Brandt, NFL.com contributor: 8-8
Babe Laufenberg, Dallas Cowboys radio color analyst & CBS 11 sports director: I am following Sham's lead!
Mike Doocy, Fox 4 sports director: 7-9. University of Iowa's record - 12-0
Chuck Cooperstein, Dallas Mavericks radio voice & sports savant: 7-9. Florida will finish a very misleading 7-5. They're a better team than that.
George Riba, WFAA Sports reporter: 7-9
Jeff "Skin" Wade, 105.3 The Fan host: 7-9
Dale Hansen, WFAA Sports director: 7-9 if Romo healthy. Subtract 1 win for every game he is injured.
Jon Machota, Dallas Morning News writer: 7-9
Joe Trahan, WFAA Sports director: 7-9
Cory Magoers, 105.3 The Fan host: 10-6
Drew Davison, FW Star-Telegram Dallas Cowboys writer: 5-11
Schuyler Dixon, AP Sports Writer: 6-10
Charean Williams, FW Star-Telegram Dallas Cowboys writer: 7-9
Rainer Saban, Dallas Morning News Dallas Cowboys writer: 6-10
Chris Arnold, 105.3 The Fan: 6-10
Clarence E. Hill Jr., FW Star-Telegram Dallas Cowboys writer: 7-9
Todd Archer, ESPNDallas.com Dallas Cowboys writer: 8-8
Ted Madden, WFAA sports reporter: 6-10
Shan Shariff, 105.3 The Fan radio host: 6-10
Brandon George, Dallas Morning News Dallas Cowboys writer: 7-9
David Moore, Dallas Morning News Dallas Cowboys writer: 6-10
Tim MacMahon, ESPN Dallas sports writer: 8-8
Gavin Dawson, 105.3 The Fan radio host: 5-11
Ty Duffy, The Big Lead writer: 8-8
Bud Kennedy, FW Star-Telegram metro columnist: It feels like 6-10 but I'll give them the benefit of the doubt and say 7-9.
Robert Littal, Black Sports Online: I wanted to say 8-8. I think the divsion is weak enough to squeeze out 7 wins.
Mike Taylor, host of Mike Taylor Show on Ticket 760 in San Antonio: 4-12. Rock bottom.
R.J. Choppy, 105.3 The Fan host: 8-8.
