Dirk actually found something more painful tonight than the sore left ankle that caused him to miss most of the second half of the 105-103 win over lottery-bound Milwaukee. Dirk said he jammed bone spurs together and, after trying to give it a go in the third quarter, was told to take the rest of the night off.
"No need right now to make this worse at this point of the season," Dirk said. "Avery told me to sit it out."
So what else bothered Dirk? The TV, of course.
"Obviously it was killing me in a close game to sit back and watch, especially listening to Bob Ortegel talk," he quipped. "That was a pain."

Dirk is so funny! I'm sure Bob thinks he is too and won't take this personally.
