Everyone was singing the praises of swingman Jerry Stackhouse after Thursday's practice, and even Devean George said Stack's 0-for-6 night in Game 1 was "probably a freak accident."
Stackhouse played big minutes while guard Devin Harris was in foul trouble in Game 2, and he ended up going to the line 13 times (making 11), scoring 17 points and adding eight rebounds and four assists.
"He was terrific in all phases of the game," assistant coach Del Harris said. "His energy led us... Stack was as important a factor as any single thing in the game."

Nobody played great in game 1. I don't think you can point the blame to just one player. I'm glad to see Stack and everyone else rally in game 2. Stack is awesome and I love watching him play. Nobody is tougher than Stack. I'm certainly glad he's on our team. Now let's bring it and take these jokers out !!
GO MAVS !!!
