It's probably a good thing Tuesday's preseason opener against the Spurs is not going to be on television (unless you have HDNet), because this one really isn't must-see TV. There's almost nothing new with the Mavs and there's even less new with the champion Spurs.
The Mavs will be without Devean George (foot), DJ Mbenga (knee) and Eddie Jones (hamstring). DeSagana Diop left Monday's practice sick, but he's hoping to play. If he doesn't prepare for a heavy dose of Jamal Sampson at center.
