Matt Barnes, the mohawked firestarter Mavs fans targetted with much loathing in the playoffs last year, might not be playing tonight. He dislocated the knuckle on the ring finger in his shooting hand in Golden State's loss to Cleveland Tuesday and reports have said it is "swollen and discolored."
If he doesn't play, it will cut into Golden State's depth even more as Troy Hudson (hip) and Austin Croshere (back) will be out and Stephen Jackson (lack of brain matter) is serving a suspension.
Barnes is averaging 6 points and 2.75 rebounds per game so far this season.
