The Mavericks just dodged a bullet. Sharpshooter Juan Carlos Navarro is likely the last guy you want to leave open in that situation behind Mike Miller. He had two wide-open chances to tie it up and couldn't convert. Navarro is shooting over 50 percent from three-point land this season. The Mavs just got very lucky they aren't playing overtime right now.
