Give it up for J.J. Barea. The second-year point guard must be impressing Avery Johnson because he's in the starting lineup tonight, replacing Eddie Jones, who's sore leg, an injury sustained Monday against Houston, has him out of action. Johnson could have started Trenton Hassell, Jones' usual backup at shooting guard, but chose to use Barea, which makes sense against the Warriors' small and speedy lineup.
Devin Harris is guarding Baron Davis with Barea on second-year shooting guard Kelenna Azubuike.
Brandon Bass is also back in the rotation. He just replaced DeSagana Diop, who picked up his second foul barely three minutes into the game. Warriors 7, Mavs 4.
