Sometimes intense moments can come in garbage time.
OK, not truly intense moments where real games that matter come down to a made free throw or crucial three-pointer. But if you're a numbers hound like I am, you were on the edge of your seat during Brandon Bass' final free-throw attempt with 40 seconds left in the game. The Mavs may have been up by 17, but there was still some drama left.
Bass was looking to stay perfect from the free-throw line for the season. He had made all of his previous four in the game, but number 23 just wasn't meant to be. So, his streak ended at 22. I guess 95.6 percent from the line isn't anything to be ashamed about.
