Things are not going too well for the Mavs lately. That is their third straight loss, all of which were to Eastern Conference teams. It's the first time they have lost three straight to East teams in the regular season since March 28-31 of 2006 when they lost to Detroit, Cleveland and Orlando. All of those were road games. Obviously tonight was not a road game.
It's the first time they've lost three straight since they lost four in a row to start the season last year, but all of those were against West teams.
For a team that went 27-3 against the East all last season, a 3-4 record thus far looks pretty putrid.
