These are the kinds of games that aren't really all that surprising from Chris Paul anymore. With 33 points, 12 assists, 9 rebounds, 3 steals and only 2 turnovers, Paul had a sensational night despite shooting 11 of 25 from the floor. He made up for it by draining all 11 of his free throws—2 of which put the game completely out of reach with 10 seconds left in overtime. Paul finished overtime with 4 of the Hornets' last five points and beat his point guard counterpart off the dribble almost the entire game with help from many high-post screens. If the Mavericks want to start winning these games, they're going to have to defense the other team's best player a little better than this.
