It's obvious that neither team was terribly interested in manning up on defense tonight. Both teams combined to shoot 60 percent and the turnovers were plentiful from sloppy passes and careless ball handling. Nobody seemed to want to man up, and that opened up passes to be cut off by many a defender. The Mavs and Jazz combined for an unusually high 18 steals, and that likely helped contribute to the high shooting percentages from some all-to-easy transition buckets.
