Devin Harris has a serious stomach virus, Avery Johnson said, and the point guard can't get out of bed.
So things could get interesting tonight. It looks like Jason Terry will start at the point with Trenton Hassell finally getting back on the court with a start at shooting guard. Hassell hasn't played at all in the last two games and has logged not even five minutes total in the last five games.
On top of that, point guard J.J. Barea will likely get time tonight. He's been hurt with a sprained joint in his shoulder, at least that's how he explained it. It happened against the Bulls on the last road trip when he slammed into a Andres Nocioni's screen. The injury severly limited Barea's ability to extend his right arm. He's been inactive the last two games, but Avery Johnson wouldn't say whether it was because of the injury or simply his decision.
Barea said it still hurts, but he is able to fully raise his arm.
