With Jerry Stackhouse out with a sprained thumb, Moe Ager got the call up to the big squad from the Mavs' D-League affiliate in Tulsa.
Ager's journey to Minneapolis was quite a ride. The Tulsa 66ers played in Utah Saturday night, "in a town called Provo. They only had a Burger King," Ager said.
Ager's flight blew out of Salt Lake City at 5:30 a.m., so the hopped on the bus to their Salt Lake hotel and then a few hours later Ager was on shuttle to the airport, "I didn't go to sleep last night." He arrived in Minneapolis just in time for a little breakfast and the bus ride to the Target Center.
It'll be interesting to see if he gets to play. Avery Johnson has already said Trenton Hassell will get time.
