Kevin Garnett is not in the lineup tonight because of an abdominal strain, which had caused him to miss his third consecutive game.
The Celtics still have some players, however. One of them is Ray Allen, who was also snubbed on the All-Star team today and answered with 15 first quarter points. That was two more than Josh Howard.
With 5:20 left in the second quarter, the Celtics are hanging on to a 34-31 lead.
