Turns out Jerry Stackhouse's buzzer-beating 3 to defeat the Clippers Saturday night was even more dramatic. He was playing with a right hamstring injury that occured before halftime. It will keep him out of tonight's game.
Times have been tough recently for Stackhouse. He suffered a thumb injury on Jan. 4 and missed the game at Minnesota, then he took a knee to his right leg against Seattle on Friday and now this hamstring deal, which he says doesn't feel like a tear and that he hopes these four days off will allow him to be ready to play at home Saturday against Seattle.
