Those are the words of Nets president Rod Thorn a few hours ago. The on-again, off-again trade that would send Jason Kidd to the Mavs and Devin Harris and others to the Nets looks like it's going to happen after all.
The timeline seems to suggest that the league will review all aspects on Tuesday, approve it and finally let the players swap teams.
The final key was Keith Van Horn agreeing to join the Nets and not just collect a paycheck and go home. He'll make $4 million for a about a month's worth of work. Not bad if you can get it.
And the Mavs will have taken a significant gamble, but one they felt was necessary for a shot to win the ultra-competitive West.
