During a pregame
interview tonight, Dallas owner Mark Cuban made a couple of references to the
one-sidedness of the Memphis-Lakers trade that sent Pau Gasol to LA.
“Yeah, it bothers me,”
Cuban said.
San Antonio coach Gregg
Popovich criticized the trade on Friday, saying that the league should have a
trade committee to oversee and approve or disapprove trades.
“I want to be on that
same committee as Popovich,” Cuban said. “But it is what it is.”
Gasol was traded to the
Lakers for Kwame Brown, Jarvis Crittenton, the rights to Marc Gasol, Aaron
McKie and two first-round picks.
