Well, that didn't go so well. The Mavs got shellacked today by a score of 90-67 in Detroit and shot 30 percent as a team.
They haven't scored that few points since Feb. 26, 1999 when they lost to the Jazz 80-65. Robert Pack and Samaki Walker were the only Mavericks to score in double digits and the Mavs shot 29 percent from the floor as a team.
The last time they scored in the 60s was March 6, 2005 when they lost 90-69 to the Rockets. Dirk Nowitzki did not play in that game, and the Mavs shot 37 percent as a team.
