Interesting story today in the Detroit News. Members of the Pistons were asked if the trade of Jason Kidd to Dallas is made, would it help the Mavericks. "I don't see how, "Chauncey Billups said.
Writer Chris McCoskey says: "The
consensus among the Pistons was that the Mavericks would have given up
too much in Harris, who is considered along with Chris Paul and Deron
Williams as the best young point guards in the league. They also felt
that it didn't really address the Mavericks' primary need -- which is
another productive big man to complement Dirk Nowitzki"
Interesting view from a team that beat Dallas 90-67 on Feb. 3.
