Accordinig to reports from Phoenix, Shaquille O'Neal when through his first workout with the Suns today and Phoenix coach Mike D'Antoni will determine tomorrow when Shaq plays. D'Antoni stressed that he is not going to rush Shaq back. O'Neal has a hip injury that he got when diving for a loose ball on Dec. 22 in a game against Utah.
The Suns have a game in Golden State on Wednesday and then come home to meet the Mavericks on Thursday, which is the last day games are played before the All-Star break. It makes sense for the Suns to give Shaq additional rest. But I'm going to be in Phoenix for the game and I'd rather watch him play.
