Avery Johnson was asked how his team will handle not having Dirk Nowitzki for an undetermined period of time:
"Now that we know he's not coming back right now, hopefully guys won't look to the locker room. There's no Dirk coming out of a phone booth or anything. Hopefully that will help us in the way we mentally prepare for these games, knowing he's not coming back right now and now we've got to go out and do the job without him."
