If you're into NBA records (I know I am), this ESPN piece from John Hollinger breaks down the possibility of current NBA players breaking some hallowed (and not so hallowed) all-time NBA records. According to Hollinger, Dirk has a 7.6 percent chance of breaking Kareem's Abdul-Jabbar's record for minutes played and a 4.6 percent chance of breaking Robert Parish's record for games played. Jason Kidd is the closest active player to catching Karl Malone for a more dubious honor: turnovers. Hollinger has him with an 11.8 percent chance of catching the Mailman on failed deliveries.
