The Bobcats came in here with a five-game winning streak and it looked like a dubious achievement early. The Mavericks burst to a 19-6 lead and this game had the look of Knicks redux. But those Bobcats are pesky and they've fought their way back in the game. Well, check that. While typing this, the Mavericks lead went from four to 10. Still, it looks like the Bobcats will be competitive. After one quarter, Josh Howard has 13 points, Dirk Nowitzki had 12 and Dallas leads 36-28.
