Did I say something about Charlotte being competitive? The Bobcats aren't getting it done defensively. The Mavericks had 36 in the first quarter and are headed for a good second quarter. If Avery Johnson is feeling bad, the second half would be a good time to rest. At the half, Dallas leads 67-45. Josh Howard just hit a three-pointer and has 20 points in the half. Brandon Bass has come off the bench to score 14. And Dirk didn't even score in the second quarter.
