Josh Howard might not play Saturday at Seattle. It just depends how his bruised right knee is feeling. Avery Johnson said Howard was playing at about 75 percent Thursday against Utah. It showed. He was 1-of-8 from the field for three points in 20 minutes. He tried to go in the third quarter, but lasted just a couple of minutes and didn't play at all in the fourth.
Johnson said if Howard isn't feeling right he won't push him, no point since the Mavs are basically locked into the seventh seed.
Jerry Stackhouse went through a full practice Friday, but he won't play Saturday. It seemed like he might give it a go Sunday at Seattle, but there's no guarantee.
