Many bones have been made about Jason Kidd's inferiority to Chris Paul, but in the first half, the crafty veteran showed his mettle. With 7 points, 7 assists, 6 rebounds and nary a miss from the field or free-throw line, Kidd is outplaying Paul. At the end of the half, he said he wanted to turn Paul into a scorer, which would obviously take away some of his playmaking abilities. It seems to have worked with Paul leading his team with 11 points but only handing out three assists.
